We recommend having enough Tags for your maximum group size. For example, if you run classes of 8 students, you should get 8 Tags. You can also share Tags between students and order more Tags later!

Tags are robust and waterproof. Tags straps are designed to stay in place during a surf session. However, for added security, a safety tether can be provided and attached to the wetsuit zipper. In case of loss, contact us to order a replacement Tags at a discounted price.

The Tags can communicate with the beach up to 600 meters (2000 feet). The Station comes with an optional x12 objective for distant waves.

The Station is weather-resistant and can handle light rain. For heavy rain or storms, we recommend bringing it (and your phone) inside. The Tags are fully waterproof and can handle any weather condition.

No! The Station works offline during recording. You only need internet connection later to upload the videos, which can be done when you're back at your camp or home.

You can upload the videos whenever you want. However, we recommend uploading them as soon as possible to avoid losing them and reducing the storage load on your phone. Besides, until you upload them, you can't do video analysis on the website and students can't access their videos. However, the upload itself is done automatically when your phone is connected to WiFi.

When we onboard your Surf Camp on Surf Buddy, we will provide you with a custom link. Once shared to students, it will allow them to preview their surfing clips (we store them for two weeks). They can then choose to purchase and download their videos in high quality.

Yes you can! During the onboarding, you can provide us with a logo and we will add it to the videos. This will help you leverage your students social media presence.

The product is not in its final version yet. To reflect this, we sell them at a low price to Alpha and Beta testers. The Station is currently $299 and Tags are $99 each. We also do a Bundle with a Station and 10 Tags for $999.

This depends how many students you have each week. However, conservatively, for 10 students with 50% (usually most of them do) buying video packs at 30$ (some Camps sold them up to 50$ so far), it makes $600 per month that will be shared between us. With increased students, conversion rate or prices, this can easily go above $1000 per month. This lets you quickly cover the cost of the product and make money from it onwards. Besides, in addition to the video sales, providing video analysis and video packs can also help you increase interest and prices for your Surf Camp.

Specifically for Pioneers testers, we provide a leasing model. This means you pay monthly (29$ for the Station and 10$ for the Tags or 99$ for the Bundle) over a 12-month engagement and then the products are all yours. This is a great way to test Surf Buddy and see if it's worth it for you. You can cancel anytime as long as you return the products.

If you are not satisfied with the product, contact us to organise the return. We will fully refund your purchase. This "satifaction guarantee" is available for 6 months for out Pioneers testers. Pioneers testers also get free repair for 24 months.
